White...beautiful white and calling all angels....Peace Angels, Sydney Australia

When you close your eyes, what colour do you see?
I always see white....beautiful white... flashing bright white light!!

Every now and then I need to be surrounding by white,
I love painting with white, I love white gardens, white homes
and I especially love styling with white.
I love Beautiful white table settings, white weddings, white skys, white dresses,
weathered white, white flowers and white misty days.

There are many shades of white........today, here in Australia we have a very
white, bright sky, the winds have been ferocious here in the Southern Highlands and I'm one of the lucky ones as I have power as many thousands of homes in my area don't.  The trees have come down on power lines all around the country side and it's freezing.  Hopefully it will be back for everyone today.

Above, one of the beautiful cottages at Southdowns, Bowral,  I have been photographing
the gardens here and I will have more to share with you soon.

Calling all Angels...Peace Angels
Peace for Sydney, Australia

I have a beautiful, loving and giving friend in Sydney, Antionette Sampson, and she is calling all Angels to anchor
peace in Sydney.  Are you interested? Are you an Angel?

The Peace Angels’ mission is to anchor and celebrate peace in cities all over the world by raising
consciousness – one city at a time.

Angel Photographs by Emma Blaxland

Peace Angels – Walking Light is an environmental performance experience designed to
celebrate and anchor peace in Hyde Park in the City of Sydney. On Sunday, 25 September 2011
all faiths, races and backgrounds joined by a common desire for Peace.

Sydney-based director and theatre maker, Antoinette Sampson is creator of The Peace Angels,
an Australian-based creative company dedicated to reminding people of the power of peace;
peace within ourselves, peace between people, peace between nations. In 2002, she conceived,
and published the book Peace Angels. Peace Angels combines mesmerizing photos and
inspiring words to offer comfort and company in a sometimes lonely world. It is a remarkable
combination of words and pictures that touches the heart and serves as a gentle but powerful
reminder that whatever the circumstances, we are never alone. The book has been published in
22 countries and translated into 6 languages.

Wishing you all a wonderful week,
 thank you for dropping by,
and thank you for all the wonderful, funny and caring comments.

  17. Coty, these images are just beautiful! The gardens take my breath away. Love the angels. Hope you are doing well. I was thinking recently how wonderful it would be to have Christmas during warm weather, as opposed to cold. No fun getting a bike when your kid and it's too cold to ride it. Is that a dumb reason to move to Australia? ;) Hope your fall/winter is going beautifully.
