The Lotus Flower - The presence of Angels

I photographed these extremely beautiful and delicate Lotus flowers last week and
they are nearly at the end of their season here in the Southern Highlands.
There are still a few little buds, but most have opened and dropped their petals to leave the most amazing looking pods.
The Lotus Flower has often been described as the most exquisite and sacred flower of Mother Earth
... it represents the spiritual presence in human lives - the true heart, the soul and essence of a human being.

Thank you for all the wonderful notes and comments that have been left here on my blog recently, and I welcome all the new followers to my blog.  I have many special friends, spiritual friends....friends that feed me with their words of wisdom.   On the weekend, a wonderful friend said...Coty, write down each day for the next two weeks a list of ten things that you a grateful for....  I started yesterday and my first list went way past 10, actually past 50...  and on the top of the list are my family, my friends
and my followers.... the special followers that encourage me to create,
Thank you...

Try writing the list as well....it is very interesting what it reveals!

Wishing you all a wonderful, wonderful week ahead.
xx Coty

  2. Thank you Coty for posting the Lotus - it is my absolute favourite plant and flower for its beauty, meaning and spiritual symbol.
I will be in the Southern Highlands next week - can you tell me where I might be able to see them even though they are at the end of their cycle - I adore them and don't get many chances to see them - last was at Sydney Botanical Gardens.
    Thanks
