Soft & calm days

I'm sure I must have multiple personalities!!

Why would I say this?..... well,...... those of you that know me well, may already be laughing.

My new studio/ shop has five rooms, two rooms downstairs

& three upstairs,

and

each room is completely different,

a couple are soft and calm and the others are blasting with colours.

and I love being in each one.

I have had these little vein flowers for years now and they always make me stop and think

so they are now sitting on my desk.

* * *

This week I have spent most of my time in my new freshly painted office upstairs,
which at the moment is very calm.
I am completely relaxed and very content.
My designs and ideas are flowing
I can just hear the distant sounds of the town & a country train coming into Moss Vale station outside my window
& it's lovely and cool in here on a pretty hot day.
It's a lovely place to be....

I loved this candelabra when I wove fresh hellebore flowers through it, but when they dried, my goodness they were amazing. They now sit on my mantle in my office.

This urn is in a magical garden here in the Southern Highlands called Milton Park, but, it's the weeping tree that stops me every single time I see it.

It's breathtaking, especially when it's winter and I just had to share it with you today.

a few more favourites that make me calm..

I started my day early this morning with a chat on the phone with my darling and gorgeous blogger friend Lisa Porter, from The Lisa Porter Collection, it was Monday evening there in the U.S.A and she was telling me about her day, and I, well, I was just starting mine, (Tuesday morning) and I was telling her what I was planning.
Sometimes I'm sure it's how you start off your day ...that makes your day.
Thanks for the chat Lisa...
so far I have done all the things I have needed to do with ease ...
and
I'm off in an hour to photograph in the country.
I do so love my job......

I hope your day is full of fun and love..

and thank you for all the lovely emails and comments,

I treasure each and every one and I carry them with me through my day.

xxx Coty
