Pale blue, old paintings, weathered cottages & in my shop this week

I picked up an old pale blue outdoor setting yesterday, it's covered with lichen, it's just fabulous! and I have so many ideas of what I'm going to do with it.

I can't wait to take some photographs with of course a special setting to share with you.

Here are some of my old favourite blue images, including a wonderful old watercolour of a little birds nest covered in lichen, which was painted by one of Andrew's great Aunts. It hangs in my entrance and it's just beautiful.

A lovely old Australian home, on a cool day the roof has a wonderful blue colour,

Welcome to everyone visiting from Susan's Tablescape Thursday party, it is always a pleasure to have you on my blog.

An early morning mist in the blue mountains

This week in my Shop

As many of you have been asking.... here are some photographs in my studio this week, I started making Christmas decorations last week and most of them have already gone... which is great!! Yesterday, my Dad arrived with a huge bundle of Devil's Ivy, I must ask, how many Dad's do this kind of think? I have twisted and woven all this fabulous stuff through some old baskets with a little bit of  holly and I also made four wreaths. Thanks Dad!
