A yellow celebration

If I had to plan a party just for myself,

just for me,

to celebrate with the people I love I would surround myself with yellow.

My wish - to meet some of my blogger friends one day.

I have been really busy for the last month and haven't had a spare minute

I opened my emails this morning to receive a beautiful message from a very special blogger friend saying, I miss you.... well, my heart was filled...

I had also received some other wonderful notes from friends just checking to see if I was alright over the last couple of weeks and all I can say is that I am so incredibly lucky to have these people in my life.

These flowers are for you Susan and your wonderful friends that join you each week

Susan, from the incredible blog 'Between Naps on the Porch' is celebrating her

100th Tablescape Thursday Party. What a wonderful party she has created each week & it

has brought so many beautiful people together, so many I call my special friends.

Happy 100th Tablescape Thursday Susan,

xx Coty

Included above in my post are these wonderful illustrations from some vintage Vanity Fair magazines, I think they are just so beautiful, so romantic and heavenly.

Don't you agree ?

  1. Hi Coty!! Please forgive me for not being here for so excuse!
Daisies are my favorite flower (they were in my wedding) and I especially love that drawing....

Lovely to 'see you' and your creativity!!
