Celebrate with roses & love

Easter was absolutely magical !

The Southern Highlands was buzzing with visitors escaping the city to get some lovely Autumn country air. It was great for all the shops in town, the coffee shops were overflowing. So I escaped to a wonderful place in Bundanoon to be away from the crowds to spend some time with some very special people.

It was very quiet and very peaceful

and I was reminded gently to follow my heart.

What is it about the rose? just look at these amazing little flowers, the colours, the shapes and the delicate petals, all picked in my friend Maria's garden. The fragrance, mmmm it was beautiful. The old black urn was empty and sitting on the table alone, so with my secateurs (thanks Bill) I cut the most wonderful mix of roses and added a few of my favourite feathers, brushed down the outdoor table and gathered a couple of vintage glasses from my Armoire and a good bottle of wine!!

Wishing you all a wonderful, happy and peaceful week

  1. WINE & ROSES. Oh, the roses are absolutely phatanstic. I love roses so much and you arranged them so romantic. With the crystal and wine outside it reminds me of warm summer evenings with the smell of roses. Nice greetings from Germany, Johanna.

  2. Oh you capture so much beauty for us week after week! Lovely!

  3. Dreamy and romantic perfection. Roses and wine. Does life get any better?

  4. This is very very elegant. So unexpected. Yet refined.

  5. Very pretty rose pictures. Do you grow them? -- Jane F.

  6. Those wonderful, lush roses, the chassic forms of the urn and statuary, the allure of the wine and the beautiful vintage flutes! Coty, you're the very best when it comes to creating a relaxed, yet wildly romantic, mood.

I can almost smell the intoxicating fragrance of the flowers, feel the soft breezes and the warmth of the sun. Spectacular!

    Warmest regards,
