Preserving pretty things

My love for beautiful flowers shows in so many of the things that I own, flower paintings, fabrics, statues and more. I just love painting, drawing and making flowers and especially working with them while I am styling, I have been so fortunate to be surrounded by flowers through my whole working life, they have been my constant companion over the last 28 years.

Most of the things that I find or collect have a connection to flowers in some way, my urns, vases, baskets, vintage hats, scarves, embroidery and linen. I want to share some of my favourite green and white images & table settings today with of course some of my favourite white flowers, the Blossom, Peony, Jasmine, Hydrangea and the White Rose.

What would we do without flowers, the inspiration that they give to all is enormous. I look into the centre of flowers and I am mesmerised by them, the shape, the colours and the delicate beauty.

Welcome to the visitors from Susan's Tablescape Thursday party at Between Naps on the Porch

  5. Elegant and beautiful, Coty. I love the glimpse of the teak table behind the softly rounded boxwoods--that is the world I want to inhabit, and I find it right here in your photographs. From the pale green glassware to the flowers that have shaped your life, I loved every detail, every frame.
