Crème de la crème

If you're ever unsure of what to use when decorating your table settings, wedding or home, just always remember, one of the most sumptuous colours you can surround yourself with is cream. This is a selection of some of my favourite cream settings, some in my home, some pretty weddings that I styled and some of my still life photographs.

I need some calm cream colours in my life at the moment, I have had a very weird week where my head has been spinning, quite literally spinning, the room has been turning upside down and I have been loosing my balance whilst walking around. I have spent most of the week in bed under a pillow. Is the universe trying to tell me something, rest.... and slow down. What a wonderful thought.

Wishing you all a wonderful week and Happy Tablescape Thursday

Don't forget to visit Susan's party at Between Naps on the Porch, there are fantastic Easter tablesettings and beautiful spring settings.

and please, please leave me a quick note so I know you have been here.

xx Coty

  5. Dear Coty
Well firstly I hope you are feeling somewhat better... the room spinning is not good at all... but if it were to spin I guess it would be better to have some of these lovely images floating around you...

My goodness.. always a terrific post full of beautiful images and artwork... and always something that reminds me of childhood.. everytime.. I swear that bone handled cutlery came straight from my childhood home.. and the painting of the lady with the ruffled collar.. 'Mame" haha another childhood memory... Love it all.. do hope you feel better.. xx Julie

  6. Dear Coty, sorry to hear the room has been spinning.Several years ago I had a virus called "Labyrinthitis" which made my head spin for 8 weeks.Drs said it generally lasted 2 to 6 weeks and there isnt much you can do to treat it.I hope you havent got it but it might be worth asking if it doesnt go away. I love your blog and I think Bowral is one of the most beautiful and magical places in Australia. I hope to get back for a visit this year.I look forward to more of your superb visual feasts. Fiona

  11. Dearest Coty,

What exception and singular talent and artistry you have so generously bestowed on us this week with your 'creamy, dreamy', dreamscape vignettes;despite not feeling well dear lady!..,

I am utterly astounded with pure pleasuable dekight and very blessed to behold all the vast array of lovely images that you photograph- stle and photograpgh with a 'well curated' and fabulously, attune artistic eye!

Do get well and when you are able, you are most warmly invited to visit my dear, as well as to kindly consider participating with my 24th, 'Tuesday Tea For Two', weekly blog party meme at my blog..,(The concept for my little 'Tuesday Tea For Two' meme, is based upon my original watercolor painting of 'two kitties enjoying a Tuesady afternoon tea for two', located on the left sidebar of my blog).

Take care, please do rest well and warmest wishes for a speedy recovery from Wanda Lee @ The Plumed Pen
