The rich colours of fruit - Table settings

My art is styling, styling beautiful things for photographs and for real life events, but I must say that styling table settings has become one of my very favourite past times and I just love working with the rich colours of fruit and flowers. Here are a selection of my images and table settings, all different, some in elegant dining room settings, some very rustic and in old gardens. All working with freshly picked produce that I found locally from many gardens & vineyards in the Southern Highlands.

Above: In my Styling Gardens blog this week, some images from when I was with Vogue Entertaining Guide

When I had a flower shop in Sydney many years ago, I would buy all my flowers early in the mornings at the Flower markets, but most of the time I would dash over to the huge fruit markets and fill my van with wonderful berries, little pears, purple cabbage and amazing fruit to mix with my arrangements. It was an amazing place to be.......

It's Susan's Table scape party again today, come along to Between Naps on the Porch

to see some magical settings

  7. Hi Coty
Well I love the colours in the collage immediately above the Post Title.. I want to immerse myself in those colours!! hehe Whenever I see this shade of lemon paired with something warmer I want to run out and buy everything in the shade of lemon!! Did you notice the lady with the lemon hat looks very similar to the porcelain lady lower down.. Yellow hat.. brown hair.. blue jacket!! Another gorgeous post from you! Have to run off now and eat some peaches!!! xxx Julie
