Hydrangeas are out just in time for Christmas

The hydrangeas are all out in Bowral and just in time for Christmas. They are just beautiful this year, amazing blues and pinks. This is one of my very favourite flowers and I just wanted to share some of my images with you,

Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas week, I'm nearly finished my shopping, just a few more little things to get. Today the weather is beautiful, however I hear we are expecting thunder storms on Christmas day. Oh gosh, I think we will be sitting inside.

  1. Coty, my three favorite flowers are roses, hydrangeas and agapanthas....you have posted on all of them and they are all so beautiful. The flowers seem so "big" in Australia! Beautiful post! ~Cheryl

  3. Hydrangeas are my favorite flower, although I have a friend who refers to them as "grandma flowers". My daughter used hydrangeas at her wedding. These pictures are so beautiful. Thank you for sharing. laurie

  4. Thank you Coty for featuring these beautiful & often under-rated blooms. We are still 'small' enough in Adelaide for Monday's newspaper to have a Weddings page & there taking pride of place this morning was the feature bride, carrying 4 white hydrangea blooms with the long stems bound in white satin ribbon with the seam sewn with pearls! The most stunning bouquet I've seen in ages.
